Doug Maslo builds world-class golf courses for top designers around the world–Courses that are built to impress and to last.

As President and CEO of RG Development, Doug Maslo has worked with the biggest names in the golf, including Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods Design, Gary Player, Mark McCumber and Fazio Golf Design. For the past 25 years alongside Chris “Soupy” Gould (his Vice President of Construction), he has established a reputation as a respected, trusted and ambitious golf course builder and resort developer. His ability to develop a golf property from concept to operational budgeting and management has made Maslo one of the most diverse developers in the golf resort industry. Collectively, he and his staff have played a key role in developing more than 30 championship golf courses around the world.

Mr. Maslo has built, co-owned and operated four golf course facilities in the United States: Hunter’s Oak (Maryland), Knob Hill Club (New Jersey), Lady’s Island Country Club (South Carolina) and Sanctuary Golf Club(South Carolina). Some of the other golf course projects that Maslo and his staff have worked on include Aspen Glen Golf Club, Aspen, Colo.; Sumo Golf Village, Florence, Colo.; The Golf Club at Indigo Run and The Ocean Course at Sea Pines, Hilton Head Island, S.C.; Tallamore Golf and Country Club, Pinehurst, N.C.; Del Webb- Sun City, Bluffton, S.C.; Grand Haven Golf Club, Palm Coast, Fla.; Heathrow Country Club, Heathrow, Fla.; Tamarindo Diria Resort and Golf Club and Playa Conchal Beach and Golf Resort, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, Levera Beach, Grenada and Jack’s Bay, Eleuthera Bahamas.

Aside from building golf courses, Maslo and RG have also facilitated the infrastructure build out of large-scale development projects, to include constructing/installing all utilities, mass grading, water and sewer treatment facilities, utility-grade solar field installation, road construction and desalinization facilities. Maslo is also an expert in dredging and marina construction, having rebuilt dockage for over 2000 boat slips along the New Jersey shoreline following super storm Sandy.

He is a proud and devoted husband and father, and is quick to let you know that he likes when people underestimate him. A big personality with an even bigger ability to deliver results, Doug consistently surprises the people who spend the time to get to know him. Under his booming voice and unmistakably big presence is a softie at heart who recognizes the important things in life: time with family, a job well done, and savoring every moment he can, wherever life finds him.
